Royal Enfield has finally launched the 2021 Classic 350 in a price range of Rs 1.84-2.15 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Chennai) in the Indian market. Being introduced in five trims namely Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark and Chrome, it gets significant cosmetic as well as mechanical upgrades as compared to the outgoing model. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 bookings start from today across India while 3 years engine warranty and 1 year Roadside Assistance (RSA) is offered as standard. The bike is around Rs 5,000 more expensive than the preceding model.

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Design and Features

Royal Enfield has retained the original retro-classic theme of the Classic 350 in its latest avatar, albeit with a few minor changes. There is a circular halogen headlamp upfront with chrome bezels and round-shaped turn indicators. The fuel tank is presented in a teardrop shape while the rear view mirrors are also circular. The exhaust pipe comes with a chrome plating. The tail-lamp cluster along with the indicators get a new design. As for features, the 2021 Classic 350 boasts of an updated instrument console with LCD display, fuel gauge and twin trip metres. The Tripper Navigation feature also makes its way to the bike for the first time. It works in tandem with Google Maps using your Smartphone; however, no call or SMS alert functionality is available. The switchgear has been sourced from the Meteor 350.



The bike can be availed in a total of 11 paint schemes namely Chrome Red, Chrome Bronze, Dark Stealth Black, Halcyon Green, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Grey, Redditch Sage Green, Desert Sand, Redditch Red, Dark Gunmetal Grey and Marsh Grey. The bike is also equipped with a discreet USB port below the handlebars.


2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Engine

Being based on a double-downtube chassis, the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by the same 349cc J-Series engine that we saw with the Meteor 350. The engine comprises of a SOHC two-valve head while delivering power output of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is linked to a 5-speed gearbox unit. The outgoing model was powered by a 346cc UCE motor with pushrod-valve system and it used to generate maximum power of 19.1 bhp and highest torque of 28 Nm. The suspension duties are carried out by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and twin tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable preload at the rear. The entry-level variant gets single-channel ABS with rear drum brake while all the remaining variants get disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
