2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Design & Features

Last month the bike was spotted in the production-ready format. From the images, we could say that the bike has retained its retro look. Design-bits like a circular headlamp with chrome bezels, round-shaped rear view mirrors, and a teardrop-shaped fuel tank have been carried over. Towards the rear end, the upcoming Classic 350 gets an updated tail lamp and indicator. The bike further features a single seat. However, we can expect the top-end variant to get new split-seats. Feature-wise, the updated Classic 350 comes equipped with a revised instrument cluster that features a separate digital readout with a fuel gauge. Moving on, the bike will also get a Tripper Navigation Pod integrated into the headlight.

The 2021 Classic 350 is the second motorcycle in the RE’s lineup to be underpinned by the J platform. The bike sits on a twin downtube frame. Braking duties are taken care of by a 300mm disc upfront and a 270mm disc at the rear. The top-end trim might come with a dual-channel ABS. Besides this, the braking system has been shifted to the right side of the bike.

Mechanically, the upcoming Classic 350 will draw its power from a revised 349 cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled SOHC four-stroke engine. The motor further churns out a maximum power of 20.1 bhp at 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a 5-speed gearbox.
