The deliveries of the 2021 Range Rover Evoque will start from today in India

Jaguar Land Rover India has launched the 2021 Range Rover Evoque at an introductory price of Rs 64.12 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The deliveries of the SUV will start from today in India. It has been presented in R-Dynamic SE trim with the Ingenium 2.0L petrol and S trim with 2.0L diesel powertrain. The British luxury brand has introduced a new dual-tone Deep Garnet/Ebony upholstery for the first time in Range Rover Evoque while the SUV will rival the likes of BMW X3, Mercedes Benz GLC, Volvo XC60 and Audi Q5 in the Indian market.

The 2021 Range Rover Sport comes loaded with a plethora of advanced features in the form of 3D Surround Camera Cabin, Air Ionisation with PM 2.5 filter and Wireless Device Charging with Phone Signal Booster. In addition, it has been equipped with the latest version of Land Rover’s ‘Pivi Pro’ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, “Range Rover Evoque has always turned heads with its unique, modernistic and smart design. With the introduction of new interior colorways and latest Land Rover technologies, the new Evoque’s style quotient is even more enhanced and the new Ingenium powertrains make it more powerful and efficient.”

Mechanically, the 2021 Range Rover Evoque is offered with petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variants draw power from a 2.0L 4-cylinder Ingenium engine which generates maximum power of 247 bhp and peak torque of 365 Nm. On the other hand, the diesel variants are also powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder Ingenium mill with top power of 201 bhp and highest torque of 430 Nm. Both the engines are linked to a 9-speed automatic transmission as standard. The new Evoque is nearly Rs 4 Lakh more expensive than the preceding model which was launched in January last year at a sticker price of Rs 59.85 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). It is noteworthy that identical to the Velar that was launched a few days back, the 2021 Evoque also comes only in the R-Dynamic SE trim.
