Hyundai is turning the 2021 Elantra into a super sports sedan.

Hyundai recently launched BS6 Elantra diesel in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 18.70 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new seventh generation 2021 Hyundai Elantra had its global premiere in March. Now, the South Korean automaker has released the official renderings of the 2021 Hyundai Elantra N-Line. The released images highlight the aggressive styling of the Elantra N-Line.

The Hyundai’s traditional cascading grille gets a N-Line treatment. A new bumper design with air intakes with boomerang-shaped inserts is the key highlight. The front of the car retains the sharp headlights, grille pattern and sculpted hood lines. The only key difference is that the grille is positioned lower and appears wider than the standard Elantra model. It is finished in glossy-black with a large air dam situated below. The updated bumper gives the front profile a chiselled look. The body lines and overall styling is similar to the standard model.

The Elantra N-Line comes with larger diamond-cut turbine-style 18-inch alloy wheels. The glossy black finish is applied on the outer rear-view mirror, N-Line window accents and side skirts. The 2021 Hyundai Elantra N-line is equipped with twin exhausts and a rear diffuser to raise the style quotient. Overall, if we take a hard look at the Elantra N-Line design, it’s distinguishable from the standard Elantra. Previously, Hyundai released a short video of the Elantra N-Line undergoing a performance test with a sound clip recording the exhaust note sound.

Performance-wise, most likely the Hyundai Elantra N-Line is likely to be powered by the engine seen in outgoing Elantra Sport. It is a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder motor which can churn out a massive power of 201bhp. No official confirmation yet on the transmission options but we can expect the engine to be coupled to an 8-speed DCT. We can expect arrival of N-badged Hyundai models in the Indian market in the near future. We have seen the spy shots of N-Kona and reports of N-line Venue in the works are floating as well.
