The Volkswagen Passat is a premium D-Segment sedan that is a flagship of the German carmaker in India. The new generation 2020 Passat is about to make its debut at the North American International Auto Show. Ahead of its debut, the German carmaker has teased the new Passat with a few sketches.
If we look at the sketches, we can make out that the new Passat looks quite sporty and youthful with its sharp styling elements. Some of the key sporty elements include large grille, swept back headlamps, aggressive front stance with sharp bumpers and big air intakes. The rear also gets a sporty bumper with chrome tipped exhaust pipes and there is a boot integrated spoiler as well with fancy tail lights.
The interiors will also get substantial changes to make it look more fresh and of course it will be loaded with a lot of tech to offer a premium appeal. The platform of the 2020 Volkswagen Passat will be the same as its predecessor. Volkswagen will introduce both petrol and diesel engine options with the new Passat. We can expect the German carmaker to launch the new version in India after its global debut.
