2020 Triumph Street Triple RS BS6 bookings are open and test rides will be available after the lockdown lifts.

Triumph Motorcycles India has finally launched the 2020 Street Triple RS BS6 at Rs 11.13 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom. India) in the country. The bookings are open and test rides will be available after the lockdown lifts. The pricing of the new BS6 motorcycle has been kept the same as the older BS4 model. The 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS is still the lightest bike in its class at 166kgs dry weight. It gets a plethora of cosmetic updates and new features while the engine is also a BS6 compliant unit now.

 

The 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS BS6 flaunts an all-new twin LED headlight setup with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the top-spec model. The motorcycle now comes in a Matt Jet Black paint scheme, with aluminium silver & yellow decal. It can also be availed in Silver Ice, and aluminium silver & diablo red decals. Both feature hand-painted wheel pinstripes in Diablo Red. The new motorcycle gets a bi-directional quickshifter unlike its predecessor as standard fitment while also featuring unique 2nd generation graphic schemes on the 5-inch TFT instrument screen. The TFT screen angle can be adjusted for optimum visibility to suit rider height. The 2020 Street Triple also boasts of an integrated GoPro Control System which facilitates GoPro camera operation through the accessory-fit bluetooth connectivity module.

The motorcycle is also equipped with Google powered turn-by-turn navigation system which is facilitated through accessory-fit Bluetooth connectivity module. Once the rider has selected the route on free MyTriumph app & set-off, the instruments present turn symbols on the screen. The bike comes with switchable Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard. Mechanically, it draws power from the same 765cc three-cylinder which has been equipped with lighter components to meet the BS6 emission norms. The engine develops a top power of 121bhp, which is the same as the BS4 model, while the torque has gone up by 2Nm from the previous model to stand at 79Nm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch as standard feature.
