Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the 2020 Street Triple R at a starting price of Rs 8.84 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Pan India) in the country. Being the mid-level variant in the Street Triple range in India, it can be booked from today across all the company authorized dealerships. The new motorcycle comes with all-new bodywork and a BS6 compliant engine. The 2020 Triumph Street Triple R has been introduced with a range of over 60 genuine accessories in order to enhance performance, protection, comfort and style.

The 2020 Street Triple R gets several new elements in the form of fly screen, air intake, side panels, and rear unit. It also flaunts a newly designed twin LED headlamp setup upfront. The company has also equipped the motorcycle with a new compact silencer and adjustable mirrors. The bike is offered in two new paint and graphics schemes: Sapphire Black or Matt Silver Ice. Both schemes feature Diablo Red and Aluminium Silver decals, hand-painted red wheel pinstripes, and the signature Street Triple R red rear sub-frame. Mechanically, it is powered by a BS6 compliant 765cc engine which develops a top power of 116bhp at 12000rpm and peak torque of 79Nm at 9350rpm. It is more responsive than before due to the reduction in rotational inertia by 7 percent. The company has refined the airbox and exhaust system even more. Identical to the range-topping RS variant, the 2020 Street Triple R has short first and second gear ratios while featuring a slip and assist clutch. The bike comes with three riding modes: Road, Rain, and Sport. The rider can choose any riding mode from the LCD instrument cluster while the safety features include ride-by-wire, ABS, and traction control. The braking duties are performed by Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc calipers at front and Brembo single piston sliding calipers at rear.
