The Japanese auto giant Suzuki has launched its world-renowned superbike Hayabusa 2020 version at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 13.74 Lacs.

The updated Hayabusa gets cosmetic updates like 2 new colors and some graphics as well. Also, the bike gets new front brake calipers. The 2020 Hayabusa will come in two new color schemes that are Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red. Owning to little changes and no major upgradations, the manufacturer has kept the price of the new 2020 Hayabusa the same as of the previous bike. The new 2020 Hayabusa will, however, receive no BSVI engine due to which the bike will be available in a limited number.

The company is said to cease production of the current-gen Hayabusa by December 31, 2020.

The new Busa will be powered by the same old 1,340cc in-line-four cylinder engine that churns out monstrous 199.7bhp of power and 155Nm of torque.

But, there are no confirmations whether the next-gen Hayabusa will sport different specifications.

India is one of the markets where the current generation Hayabusa is still on sale. However, there are reports that the Japanese bikemaker is reportedly working on an all-new Hayabusa that will expectedly debut in concept form at the next EICMA motorcycle show in November 2020.
However, Hayabusa which is available at Rs. 13.75 Lacs is still more affordable than its rival which includes the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R that is priced at Rs 19.70 lacs.

The new Hayabusa will arrive in India via the CKD (Completely Knock Down) route that would be assembled at SIMPL’s factory in Gurgaon.
