Honda Cars India has started the pre-bookings for the 2020 WR-V facelift at a token amount of Rs 21,000 across all the company authorized dealerships across the country. The new Honda WR-V will come with cosmetic updates both outside and inside the cabin while packed with BS 6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. The crossover is expected to launch by the end of this month while the deliveries will start from the first week of April 2020. In addition, the Japanese automaker will also unveil the new-gen 2020 City sedan on March 16, 2020 in the Indian market.

Speaking of the new 2020 Honda WR-V, it comes with a new front grille, LED projector headlamps with DRLs and Positioning Lamps and LED front fog lamps. The rear end is flanked by a set of LED Rear Combination Lamps. Being based on the Jazz's architecture, it was firstly launched nearly three years back in 2017. Talking about the new WR-V, Mr Rajesh Goel, SVP & Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd. Said, “We are glad to open the bookings for the New WR-V which will go on sale later this month. We are confident that the model’s bolder new look, stylish LED package and premium interiors will appeal to our discerning customers who are looking for status, comfort and have an active life style.”

Mechanically, the 2020 Honda WR-V will be available with a set of BS 6 compliant petrol and diesel powertrains. The petrol variants will be powered by a 1.2L motor which will develop top power of 90bhp while the diesel variants will boast of a 1.5L mill that churns out 110bhp. Both the engines will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard while there is no confirmation on the introduction of an auto gearbox.
