2020 Mahindra Thar official launch will take place on Mahindra's 75th Anniversary on October 2, 2020

CEAT Tyres, India’s leading tyre manufacturer, has announced its association with Mahindra for the 2020 new-gen Thar in the country. The Indian automaker premiered the next-gen Thar on 15th August. Mahindra Thar won the hearts of the automobile enthusiasts since its arrival in 2010. The 2020 Mahindra Thar will be launched in two variants: 16-inch and 18-inch tyre size. CEAT will be the official tyre supplier for both the SUV models. CEAT’s CZAR AT tyres are specially designed for the Mahindra Thar keeping in mind the aggressive styling and design of the SUV. 

CEAT Tyres will give the Mahindra Thar users control and manoeuvrability on different terrains. The CZAR AT 255/65R18 will come with raised White Sidewall Lettering making the CZAR AT, the first OEM fitted tyre in India to come with this feature. CEAT tyres will come with special tread compound and panther paw pattern providing better grip for Mahindra Thar on and off-road conditions. CZAR AT’s special tread groove profile gives superior control at the corner. The unique Rim protector feature protects the tyre’s sidewall from damage and extends the superior capability to negotiate tough terrains.

The official launch of the new-gen 2020 MahindraThar is on October 2, 2020, in the Indian market. The bookings and deliveries of the popular off-roader will start following the launch. Price isn’t revealed as of now but we can expect the base model to start around Rs 10 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, India).
