The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift BS6 has been offered across four trims: S, S+, SX and SX (O).

Hyundai India has officially launched the 2020 Verna facelift BS6 in a price range of Rs 9.30-15.09 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The new sedan has been introduced in both petrol and diesel fuel trims with a total of three BS6 engines. Besides the standard 6-speed manual gearbox, there are three automatic units on offer as well in the form of a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT), Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) and a 6-speed torque converter AT. The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift BS6 has been offered across four trims: S, S+, SX and SX (O).  
 
The 2020 Verna facelift flaunts unique LED headlamps with a dark chrome radiator grille as standard while the turbo variant exclusively comes with Twin tip muffler and Glossy black grille. The sedan rides on 16-inch dual tone steel wheels for the base variants while the mid-level and top-spec trims get new diamond cut alloys. As for features, it comes with Digital Instrument Cluster, Front Ventilated Seats, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, 20.32 cm touchscreen AVN infotainment system with HD Display, Driver Rear View Monitor, Paddle Shifter, Wireless Charger and Electric Sunroof. The South-Korean automaker has sold over 5.28 Lakh units of the sedan in the Indian market.

The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift BS6 debuts India’s most advanced Connectivity solution- ‘Hyundai Blue Link’ which has an in-built and tamper-proof device powered by Vodafone-Idea eSIM and a Cloud-based Voice Recognition platform. The Blue Link is equipped with 45 features classified under services in the form of Safety, Security, Remote Operations, Vehicle Relationship Management, Geographic Information Services, Alert Services and Voice Recognition. It will be complimentary for first 3 years and post which customers can further renew the services. The safety features include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM),  Emergency stop signal (ESS), Hill Start Assist Control, Rear Disc brake and Front Park Assist sensors.

Mechanically, the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift BS6 will be available with following engine-transmission options: 1.0L Turbo GDI petrol engine with 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, 1.5L Gamma2 BS6 petrol engine with 6-speed manual and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) gearbox, and a 1.5L U2 CRDI BS6 diesel engine with 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5L petrol and diesel engines develop 113bhp of top power with torque performance of 144Nm and 250Nm, respectively. The 1.0L engine belts out 118bhp and 172Nm. The new sedan is offered with 3 Years/unlimited kms or 4 years/60 000kms or 5 years/50 000 kms (first-in-segment) warranty packages. Hyundai is also offering Road-Side Assistance, Blue Link Subscription and Map Updates with 3 years of warranty package.
