The New-Gen 2020 Hyundai i20 interior details have been revealed ahead of the premiere at Geneva Motor Show on March 3.

Hyundai is going to premier the new-gen i20 hatchback at the upcoming 2020 Geneva Motor show on 3rd March this year. The South Korean automaker recently teased the upcoming premium hatchback's interior in form of an image while unveiling its features. The interior designers have taken a minimalist design approach but given a stylish appeal overall. You can expect a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch virtual instrument cluster in the same panel. Other interior highlights will include sleek horizontal dashboard, compact center display, new steering wheel design, LED ambient lighting technology and a new Bose system consisting of 8 speakers. The Bluelink connectivity suite will offer services like remote lock/unlock, navigation to local POI, vehicle alarm information and maintenance reports, Find My Car etc. to name a few.

The climate controls are positioned on the central console with a digital temperature display and toggles on either side. 2020 Hyundai i20 will be powered by three BS6 engines including a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The new-gen 2020 i20 hatch petrol variants will have the 1.2-litre engine which produces 82 bhp and 113Nm. It will be coupled with a 5-speed manual while the turbo-petrol and diesel engines will be coupled with a 6-speed manual and each can be expected to have automatic transmission option as well. There is an increased seating space for rear passengers and a boot space of 351 litres.

The all-new i20 is expected to be launched in India by June 2020 and the price range can be expected from Rs 5.70 Lakhs to Rs 10 Lakhs. It will compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Toyota Glanza, Volkswagen Polo among others in the hatchback segment.
