2020 Honda Jazz facelift has been introduced in only petrol fuel trim in three grades: V, VX and ZX

Honda Cars India has launched the 2020 Jazz facelift at a starting price of Rs 7.49 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The hatch has been introduced in only petrol fuel trim in three grades: V, VX and ZX. The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift comes with a plethora of cosmetic updates while powered by a set of BS6 compliant engines. The bookings for the hatch started a couple of weeks back - both online and at Honda dealerships. It will be at loggerheads with the likes of Tata Altroz, Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and VW Polo.

Speaking of the styling, the 2020 Jazz facelift flaunts LED headlamps with LED daytime runnings lamps (DRLs) upfront alongside the redesigned bumper and LED fog lamps. The hatch rides on newly designed alloy wheels while the rear bumper is tweaked too. Inside the cabin, the company is offering soft material at the passenger side of dashboard while there is a premium upholstery with a myriad of features such as automatic climate control, rear parking camera, keyless entry and go, power adjustable and foldable ORVMs, electric sunroof and 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Cruise control is available as standard across the entire variant line-up while safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift is available in a total of five color schemes: Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic. Under the hood, the hatchback gets a BS6 compliant 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol engine which generates maximum power output of 90bhp and peak torque performance of 110Nm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. The CVT auto unit is offered with paddleshifters as standard. As for mileage, the manual variants deliver 16.60kmpl while the automatics return 17.10kmpl (Both are ARAI Specified). The 2020 Honda Jazz facelift price of entry-level V grade is nearly Rs 5000 more than the BS4 model while the base automatic variant is cheaper by around Rs 15000 than the BS4 counterpart.
