2020 Honda City RS sedan has been given a cosmetic makeover to look like the BMW 3-Series.

We have come across a 2020 Honda City RS that gives the look and feel of a BMW 3-Series! Yeah you read it, the sedan was given an exquisite cosmetic makeover in terms of several new exterior elements. For the record, the fifth-gen 2020 Honda City was unveiled in Thailand last year and it was expected to go on sale last month in the Indian market but it was postponed due to the Corona virus outbreak. The sedan locks horns with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna, Toyota Yaris and Skoda Rapid in India.

Talking about the 2020 Honda City RS, which appears like the BMW 3-Series, it gets dark paint job alongside a new body kit. The sedan rides on different types of wheels with broader tyres. The boot spoiler is finished in carbon fibre alongside the other cosmetic upgrades. The model also flaunts full LED headlights with LED daytime running lights (DRLs) at front and a LED tail-lamp cluster at the rear. Other features include six airbags, suede seats with contrast red stitching, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Honda Connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control and multi-angle rearview camera among others. It comes at a price of 7,39,000 Thai Bhat (Around Rs. 17.03 Lakhs).

The 2020 Honda City RS is powered by a 1.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which is good for 122bhp and 173Nm. It can only be availed with a CVT automatic gearbox and there is no manual transmission on offer. The CVT unit gets paddle shifters as well while it returns a fuel economy of 23.80kmpl. It will be interesting to see if the RS variant makes it to the Indian shores as it is not yet officially confirmed by the company. Though, the standard variants will be powered by the BS6 compliant 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. These will be paired with a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. 2020 Honda City price in India is expected to be in range of Rs 9-13 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
