Honda 2-Wheelers had launched the BS6 compliant 2020 Africa Twin Adventure Sports in India on March 5, 2020. The bookings had already begun that day itself on March 5 but the Coronavirus outbreak delayed the deliveries. Good news is here for the bike enthusiasts as the company today announced the commencement of deliveries of 2020 Africa Twin Adventure Sports. The first lucky customer got the keys at Honda’s dealership - the Honda BigWing in Gurugram, Haryana. The Africa Twin, an adventure-tourer motorcycle, made its first appearance in the Indian market way back in 2017. The powerful motorcycle was the first 1000cc ‘Make in India’ model by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. The Manual Transmission (MT) grade is available in Pearl Glare White shade at a price of Rs 15,35,000 (Ex-Showroom, India). On the other hand, the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) variant comes in Darkness Black Metallic paint scheme and costs Rs. 16,10,000 (Ex-Showroom, India).
The 2020 Africa Twin Adventure Sports is Japanese Two-wheeler’s first BSVI compliant big bike in India while it is offered for the first time in both manual and automatic variants. The superbike gives you the true feel of a rally machine in terms of performance and design. Being smaller, slimmer and 5 kgs lighter, it is equipped with a new bigger engine, new lightweight chassis, new electronics and suspension. The motorcycle is packed with a plethora of features to give the rider full control on all terrains.
