Yamaha FZ V3 and FZ-S ABS launched in India with substantial cosmetic changes that makes the bike look fresh. The Yamaha FZ V3 is priced at Rs. 95,000/- (ex-showroom). The bike gets new LED headlight, new plastic resin tank cover design, sliding engine kill switch, FZ25 mudguard and Bosch single-channel ABS.
The instrument cluster of the new FZ has also been updated with an LCD unit. The bike has grown in size and now has a muscular styling. There are some chrome bits too that accentuate the styling of the bike. The Yamaha FZ is available in two colour options - metric black and racing blue while the FZ-S is available in dark matt blue, matt black and gray & cyan blue. The FZ-S is priced at Rs. 97,000/-.
Powering the new Yamaha FZ V3 is the same 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve, fuel-injected engine with BlueCore technology that produces 13.2 PS of maximum power output at 8000 RPM and 12.8 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The sales of the bike has commenced with a booking price of Rs. 5000/-.
