Tata has introduced the 2019 version of the Hexa that comes with more features on offer

2019 Tata Hexa has been launched with new features on offer. The updated Hexa will be offered in dual tone roof option along with new alloy wheels including diamond cut alloys for automatic variants and smoke grey alloys for the manual variants. Apart from these cosmetic changes, Tata Motors have updated the infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen that comes with Android Auto connectivity.

These mild changes make the Tata Hexa a better package and the Indian carmaker hopes they'll get more volumes with this update. There are no other changes and the mechanicals remain to be the same. It is powered by the same 2.2-litre VARICOR400 diesel engine that produces a maximum power output of 156 PS with a peak torque output of 400 Nm.

This engine is mated to 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. The Tata Hexa competes with the likes of the Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta in the Indian market. In the Tata Motors lineup, the Hexa has been positioned above the newly launched Tata Harrier 5-seater SUV.
