Land Rover has introduced the 2019 model year Discovery Sport in India which comes with a starting price of Rs. 44.68 lakhs (ex-showroom). The SE and HSE variants now get a more powerful version of the 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine that produces 177 HP of power. The Pure variant continues to get power from the 148 HP oil burner.
Along with the powertrain changes, the Discovery Sport is available with Dynamic Design Pack exclusively on the HSE Luxury trim. This includes significant exterior changes like the Body Styling Kit, Chrome Tailpipe Finisher, Black Pack with Unique Black Grille and Black Rear License Plate Plinth, Red 'Sport' badge.
The 2019 Discovery Sport also gets an updated Touch Pro infotainment system having the latest tech on offer. The British carmaker has introduced the mild update of the Discovery Sport to make it look fresh against the rising competition and hopes to boost the sales of this SUV.
