Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki has launched its middle-weight naked bike, the Z650 in India. The Sugomi design is the inspiration for the new Z650. The bike gets a new paint scheme along with stickers and graphics.
The all-new chassis weighs only 15 kgs which enhances the nimble nature of the Z650. There are no changes to the engine of the motorcycle. Powering the Z650 is a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 68 PS and 65.7 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Z650 comes with ABS and slipper clutch as standard.
The Z650 will be available in Metallic Flat Spark Black and Metallic Spark Black colours. After Z900 and Versys 650, the Z650 is the third offering of Kawasaki this festive season. The bookings for the bike are now open and it is priced at Rs. 5.29 lakhs (ex-showroom).
