2019 Audi R8 Decennium Version Unveiled

Audi has unveiled its 10th anniversary edition of the R8 with the name of ‘Decenium Coupe’. Only 222 of these will be built worldwide which will be numbered individually. The R8 Decennium coupe will be distinguished by its exclusive colour, 20-inch milled wheels and matte-bronze intake manifold. The front spoiler, side sills and rear diffuser are painted in gloss-black, with regular black finishing on the badges. The wing mirror housings and the side blades will sport glossy carbon-fibre. The interiors include an all-black cabin, with inlays of carbon-fibre and diamond quilted stitching pattern for the seats. The gear selector and the steering wheel have contrast stitching in gloss copper. The steering wheel comes with a black 12 o’clock marking.

The Audi R8 Decennium also includes a few other specific parts which include a special logo on the doors, the inlays and the carbon-fibre sill trims. The badge on the centre console is surrounded by gloss carbon and an Audi patented partial matte finish. The R8 Decennium is based on on the top of the line model, which uses a naturally aspirating 5.2-litre V10 engine producing a maximum power of 620 PS and 580 Nm of torque. Audi claims the performance figures of 0-100 km/hr in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 331 km/hr.

The Audi R8 Decennium will go on sale internationally along with the new version of the R8, with deliveries beginning from the end of March 2019. The Audi R8 Decennium is priced at 2,22,000 Euros (Rs 1.78 crores).
