Tata Safari Storme VX trim now gets larger wheels.

With the festive season ahead and to increase some numbers there has been a minor update to the Safari Storme. The Indian carmaker, Tata has updated the Safari Storme with a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels.

Until now, the rugged SUV used to come with 16-inch alloys. This update is not across the range of Safari Storme. Only the top end VX trim will get this update and the tyre which will be mounted is 235/65 R17. Rest all the trims will be continuing with the same 16-inch wheels.

However, this alloy design made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo with the customized Safari Storme Tuff edition. But this alloy design did not make its way to the production models. The new alloys will fill the wheel arches well and with the larger wheels expect the ride quality to be slightly stiffer than before. Apart from this particular change, there is no other mechanical or cosmetic update.
