Tata cars price begins at Rs 4.69 Lakhs and for the flagship model, it goes upto Rs 20.30 Lakhs (Both the prices are Ex. Showroom). There are a total of 7 Tata cars on sale in India, which includes 2 hatchbacks, 1 sedan, 2 SUVs and 2 all-electric vehicles. Tata upcoming cars in India are Altroz turbo petrol, Gravitas and an all-electric version of the Altroz hatchback. Tata cars in India have always been known for their toughness, rawness and impeccable performance. In the last five years or so, it has shifted focus towards developing all-electric vehicles and the Tigor EV & Tata Nexon EV are the perfect example of that. Tata all cars have already been updated to BS6 emission norms.

Tata cars, Indica & Safari are two of the most iconic vehicles in India to come out of stable of Tata Motors. Both the Indica and Safari received unabated love from the buyers in the country and were a household names at one time. Tata Indica V2 was the first indigenously developed passenger car from Tata Motors when it was launched in 1998 while Tata Safari also debuted in the same year as a luxury SUV. Both were discontinued in 2018, owing to their outdated design and arrival of new products.

A slew of Tata cars are ready to storm the Indian market - some of which are all electric while a few are all-electric vehicles. The upcoming Tata cars include turbo-petrol powered version of Tata Altroz hatchback, which is expected to launch during the festive season around November this year in a price range of 7.50-9.50 Lakhs. Additionally, the much-awaited Tata Gravitas SUV - a 7-seater version of Tata Harrier - will also be launched in early 2021. It was earlier scheduled to launch in the second half of 2020 but the company postponed it owing to the unfavorable circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Tata Motors is also working on the all-electric version of Altroz which will be based on the Ziptronic technology.

Tata Cars are one of the most popular ones in India while Tata Motors is one of the two major home-grown automakers besides Mahindra & Mahindra in the Indian market. Originally established around 75 years back in 1945 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it is a part of Tata Group, a well known Indian conglomerate.
