The plus variant gets a 2-cylinder,909 cc direct injection diesel engine, that is capable of producing a peak power of 25 bhp and 55Nm of torque. The power is enough to push the mimi truck to a top speed of 70 km/h. The Mahindra Maxximo is available in 2 variants which are Plus and CNG.

The CNG variant produces 18.8bhp of power at 3600rpm and peak torque of 57Nm at 2000rpm.
