Vespa 946 India's Most Expensive Scooter Features Rs 2 Lakh Discount

The limited edition model, Vespa 946 Emporio Armani when launched was priced at Rs 12.04 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India. It is currently being offered with a massive discount of Rs 2 lakhs. The scooter was built to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Giorgio Armani and 130th Anniversary of the Piaggio Group. The ‘946’ in the scooter’s name signifies the year (1946) when the first-ever Vespa rolled off the production line. The fashion company has for the first time collaborated with the two-wheeler brand. A total of three units were allotted for India. Two have already been sold. The one left is available at SBK World, Pune. The scooter is a 2016 model with zero km on its odometer.

India's most expensive scooter features retro styling with modern touches as it is finished in a matte black shade with a brown seat. It gets an LED headlight and LED turn indicators. On the side, the scooter gets 12-inch alloy wheels. It also gets disc brakes on both the ends. The rear end gets LED tail light. The Giorgio Armani brand logo has been placed right under the seat. 

Under the frame, like the regular Vespa 946, the Emporio Armani Limited Edition is powered by a 125 cc forced air-cooled BS4 engine. This single-cylinder, port-injected mill develops 11.3 bhp power and is mated to a CVT gearbox.
