Mahindra has finally revealed the name of their upcoming compact SUV and it is called the XUV300. The car is inspired by the Cheetah design language same as the XUV500 and comes with modern touches on the exteriors as well as interiors. This car is a revamped SsangYong Tivoli with Mahindra badging and some tweaks for the Indian market. 

The Mahindra XUV300 is a sub 4-metre compact SUV that will compete with the likes of the Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon in the Indian market. The car is expected to get some class leading features in terms of safety as well as convenience. The front profile gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs, side profile reveals shiny alloy wheels while the rear gets LED tail lights.

The Mahindra XUV300 will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. It will have a 6-speed manual transmission at the time of the launch but the automatic gearbox is expected to be offered sometime later in 2019. The interiors get a touchscreen infotainment system and get a dual tone beige and black interior theme. The car will be launched in the 1st week of February 2019.
