Tata Motors is all set to launch the Altroz iTurbo on January 13th, 2021. Ahead of the official launch, the brochure of the hatchback has been leaked online. This further gives us information about the interior, exterior, color options, and engine specifications.




As per the leaked brochure, the 2021 Altroz iTurbo will be offered in a new XZ+ variant. The hatchback is based on an all-new ALFA architecture. It offers an energy absorbing body structure. Design bits include auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers among many others. The cabin will boast of high-end perforated leather upholstery. The feature list consists of an AC unit with Xpress cool feature, height-adjustable driver seat, a rear centre armrest, a rear power outlet, straight up power windows, voice tech that responds to over 70 commands, push-button start-stop with smart key, Harman sourced surround sound system with two additional tweeters, cruise control, and a 7-inch infotainment unit with Apple Carplay & Android Auto compatibility. The infotainment system also comes with new Doodle personalized wallpaper settings. The hatchback further features an Intelligent Real-time Assist (IRA) platform that hosts a range of innovative features. The safety kit of the 2021 Altroz iTurbo comprises ABS with EBD, corner stability control, anti glare IRVM, and dual front airbags.




The new Altroz iTurbo will get a new Harbour Blue color scheme. At present, the hatchback is offered in a total of four exterior color options namely Midtown Grey, Avenue White, Downtown Red, and High Street Gold. Inside the cabin, Tata is offering a new light grey color theme across all variants of the 2021 Altroz iTurbo model lineup.

 


Performance-wise, the new Altroz iTurbo will get a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that will generate 110 bhp power and 140 Nm torque. In comparison to the standard Altroz's naturally-aspirated petrol engine, the new Altroz iTurbo’s engine is claimed to produce 28 percent more power and 24 percent more torque. Furthermore, the engine will be linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox initially. The company might introduce a new DCT automatic unit at a later stage. The new Altroz iTurbo will get two multi-drive modes - Sport and City.
