The Japanese luxury carmaker has revealed the 2020 Lexus RC F ahead of the Detroit Auto Show. The car now looks sharper compared to its predecessor thanks to the new grille, revised bumper up front that looks more sporty, new headlights with angular design, LED DRLs are new along with new tail lights and tweaked bumper that makes the car look fresh.
Lexus has made some hardware changes as well to the new RC F by retuning the suspension with new steering rack mounts and stiffer bushings that will improved the handling of the RC F. There are more rigid engine mounts and weight reduction has been done to aid the performance of the new Lexus RC F.
The engine has also got some changes making 5 HP and 8 Nm more. The naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine now produces 472 BHP of maximum power output and a peak torque of 536 Nm. This engine is mated to the same 8-speed automatic transmission. Lexus has also revealed the RC F Track Edition that comes with carbon fibre elements that reduce the weight of the car and add downforce.
